VET in Schools Partnerships
VET in Schools
Vocational Education and Training (VET) enables students to receive workplace skills and knowledge through nationally-recognised qualifications from industry-developed training packages or accredited courses. VET in Schools programs allow students to mix general and vocational education, working towards achieving competencies as part of a full or partial VET course as they complete their secondary school studies.
The delivery of VET qualifications must be done through an RTO (Registered Training Organisation), and whilst many schools also hold registration as a RTO, most VET in Schools programs are undertaken in partnership with another provider as part of a third-party RTO arrangement.
All three ReadCloudVET RTOs specialise in VET in Schools and collectively support delivery of more than 50 courses in secondary schools nationally to 15,000 students.
We provide everything you need for successful VET delivery.
Built on Support
Our RTOs share a common philosophy about best practice in VET in Schools auspicing; one that is founded in support for teachers and VET Coordinators.
All schools that partner with a ReadCloudVET RTO are given everything they need to deliver the program. Each school is assigned a dedicated School Partnership Consultant (SPC) from ReadCloudVET to answer and assist with queries. SPCs train new teachers and coordinators on the ReadCloudVET learning platform and processes, and are on hand throughout the year to guide schools through the steps.
Proven VET in Schools Expertise
ReadCloudVET brings together three RTOs with collectively more than 50 years experience in partnering with schools. Our team is led by owners and founders of these RTOs, and also includes a great staff whose experience across so many aspects of VET in Schools is extensive.
As a group of RTOs, we share the services of a range of specialist teams, including our Learning & Assessment team, our Quality & Compliance team, our Systems Integrations team and our Industry Engagement team.
Our RTOs share common systems, policies and school processes, developed and refined through all of our collective expertise, making it easier for teachers and VET Coordinators in schools who want to ensure their students get the best VET learning experience.

What is Auspicing in VET Delivered to Secondary School Students (VETDSSS)?
Auspicing in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector involves a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) entering into a partnership (or third party) arrangement with a secondary school. This is done in order to have the training and assessment that is delivered by the school recognised, so a national/state qualification can be issued by the RTO.
